M.Tech Admissions

Admissions to M.Tech CSE and ECE specialisations are benchmarked on national requirements.

Eligibility

  • · B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline with at least 60% marks (6.5 CGPA) — 55% (6.0 CGPA) for SC/ST/PwD.
  • · Valid GATE score in CSE / ECE / IT (programme-dependent).

Admission categories

  • · GATE (HTRA): Full-time, with MoE-funded Half-Time Research Assistantship.
  • · GATE (Non-HTRA): Full-time, no assistantship.
  • · Sponsored: Deputed by industry / government / research bodies.
  • · Self-financed Part-Time: For working professionals near campus.

Process

  1. Register and appear for GATE.
  2. Register for CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech) and fill IIITP choices.
  3. Seat allotment based on GATE score, category, choice and seat matrix.
  4. Accept seat, pay fee, complete document verification.
  5. Report to IIITP on the notified date for registration.
